...in my bridge

I feel like I am currently in a "bridge". My life hanging at the moment. My life on hold.

I was supposed to continue on with my next 30 day challenge - and I still do,
I still TRY to eat less, I still TRY not to eat AFTER 6.
But, I haven't weighed myself yet..
so I will update my THE 90-DAY CHALLENGE on the 90th day!
I will post my final weight results here on April 8!

I have a lot of things cooking up in my mind. But, due to what-have-you reasons, it all needs to wait.

God knows my plans and my dreams, and I am just holding on to HIM.

For the mean time, in my "bridge",
I am loving the opportunities that are coming my way.
I am loving my ambiance, the people I work with, friends I have online and offline;
everything and everyone, I appreciate and love!
I just feel blessed - and I hope you feel as blessed too!

But, I am still here in my "bridge", and I wait.

Golden Gate Bridge San Francisco, USA

Rainbow Bridge, Tokyo, Japan

Gateshead Millennium Bridge, Newcastle, UK

Millau Viaduct, Millau, France

China Bridge
St. John's Bridge in Portland, Oregon
Tower Bridge in London, England

We do find ourselves in our own "bridges" sometimes, but you see,

for as long as we are open to graces,
for as long as our heart's full of gratitude, hope and faith,
and for as long as we are just happy to be where we are at the moment...

I think we will get "there" fast! :)

  5. I am yet in the middle of my bridge now but still unwilling to proceed. Maybe too scared to take a step and find out what's in store for me at the end...maybe, I shall but rest here for a while and maybe when I'll have the courage to go on...I will boldly run and embrace whatever it is that lies ahead.

  10. Whatever bridge you may pass, this challenge will turn you on to what your heart desires.
With God's mighty grace, anything is possible, and by waiting, God is whispering you, "hey Gemma, I'll stand and sit with you, and "together," let's pass the bridge whenever you're ready."

    God bless you sister.

Well, all of us will come across a bridge where we are oblige to make decisions. Whether to cross it, to run back or to just stay there and wait for the right time and for the inspiration to move on. Take your time, live each day like it's your last. Everything will fall into it's place in God's perfect time. Goodluck. :)

  17. Your "bridge of life" is not only in your own making, but it is a joined efforts of those who surround you. When in any case it will fall, somebody who is stronger will "bridge" it until it will back to normal. Whatever matters, rely everything to Him who is the builder of the best and strongest bridge of all time.

Redirecting Thoughts!

Sometimes, we forget to take control of our minds. There are times that we just do a lot of things out of habit. We do a lot of things unconsciously. These days, whenever I find myself “thinking”, I am making sure I am thinking productive things. What will I do next?; What are my plans today?;How will I go about today’s activities? If alone in the car, driving, I’d deliberately turn on the positive, encouraging radio station, since their kind of music is good for the soul. I could listen and know that it is all good. As much as possible, I try not to think of negative or bad things. Why? Because I’ve proven that whenever I do that, it boomerangs on me! There was this one time when I felt so pissed off with my husband that my mind was just creating all these negative vibes! Asked what happened next? The more my husband got pissed off. I wasn’t even saying anything, it was all mind power, and it hasn’t done any good! So I experimented the next time it happened, ins...

Vitamins for the Mind

Vitamins for the Mind   by Jim Rohn Results At the end of each day, you should play back the tapes of your performance. The results should either applaud you or prod you. The greatest form of maturity is at harvest time. This is when we must learn how to reap without complaint if the amounts are small and how to reap without apology if the amounts are big. Life asks us to make measurable progress in reasonable time. That's why they make those fourth grade chairs so small—so you won't fit in them at age 25! There are some things you don't have to know how it works, only that it works. While some people are studying the roots, others are picking the fruit. It just depends on which end of this you want to get in on.    "Vitamins for the Mind" is a weekly sampling of original quotes on a specific topic taken from The Treasury of Quotes by Jim Rohn. The burgundy hardbound book with gold-foil lettering is a collection of...

Jack of All Trades

My parents gave me all the opportunities to try and do different activities while growing up. I did ballet. I had swimming lessons ; I joined theatre arts ; I had piano recitals ; I learned bicycling; I played volleyball; I was one of the editors in our school paper. I was even a member of University Quiz Bee contest called "Pautakan", representing our college for 3 years! In high school, I admired students who could do Impromptu Speeches. You see, I could memorize long scripts, I could compose essays but to speak my mind in a contest? Whoa! I guess, I carried that thought - wishful thinking with me, even after college, that it led me to become a member of Toastmaster's International in Makati, Philippines and then here in Gallup, NM, USA! Do I still know how to ballet dance? Mmmm... Lol! Swim? Mmmm... not where I can't touch the floor or sand, OK?  hehe Play piano? Mmmm... I can do two piano pieces? Will that count? hahaha Act? Oh yes! Could...
