I play SOCCER (Part 2) :)

I played defense last Sunday, our last game for the Gallup Adult Soccer - all Women's Team Spring 2012 season, and for the first time we won! 4-1 Wooohooo!

With all the body aches and heart pounding runs, I've learned a lot about soccer and playing per se.

Show up
         Own the game!
           Create memories
            Corner the ball :)
               Enliven your spirit!
                 Request for sub! Lol!

All games were played at the Ford Canyon Park

With MJ (left), our neighbor who invited me to the game. We were the only Filipinos in the league.

Playing soccer was actually a good follow up on my 90-day challenge! 
I look forward to playing again next year! :))

    Looks like you had a lot of fun playing soccer! :D I'm not really sporty but I hope, like you, I'll have fun when I get to try soccer or any sports. :D

    I've tried soccer in high school and I didn't enjoy it coz at that time I would rather be cheering than playing, lol

Imbalance

For years, I’ve never had a credit card. A friend literally shouted at me when I looked at the application form. He said, “DON’T YOU DARE APPLY!!!” and so I didn’t. I didn’t even try to mind  what effects they were trying to tell me if I own one.  Come 2007, in the land of milk and honey?!, I was forced to apply for a credit card. “Credit cards are needed to have credit scores”; “It is a must here!”; “Everyone’s got a credit card!”; “No we don’t carry cash, we carry cards”. So I did get one, nope, two, nope, three, nope… OK, to date I have 8 cards!!!!  Yes, I’ve been managing my accounts really well, never had a month without paying, at least the minimum amount. Overspeeding!!!

credit While driving, a police car passed me by, turned around and followed me. I slowed down.  credit It gave a warning for me to stop. I did.  I was running a lot of excuses in my mind but decided to put it all aside. I prayed instead - Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory Be. A police women came. "Hi!" I said, "Hello!"
