Emptiness

“Our hearts won’t rest until it rest in God.” - St. Augustine

The feeling of barrenness and desolation persist because we all have a deep down emptiness that can only be filled by God -like a God-shaped vacuum that only God can fill.

The process of unmasking and healing are tiring but needed if we want to set forth a new journey, a new life.

When we are open, honest and trusting, we'll begin to appreciate and comprehend the spring of God’s water welling up in us- God’s purpose, God’s will in our lives...including the emptiness.

When we let God hold the reign, our emptiness will be filled up and it's a beautiful process, like a butterfly coming out of its cocoon, like blooming flower from a bud, like a sun rising and shining forth, like a mother giving birth to her baby, like a wrinkled face of an old man with a sweet smile on his face because his dearly beloved is holding his hand.

Life can sometimes be a struggle. But, God’s fresh, clean, living water is available and it’s never limited!
Let us the continue to OPEN UP.
Let us open our hearts, open our minds, and open our soul and meet God, in His mysterious and special way.

FORGIVE.
Let us forgive ourselves, forgive our past, forgive our world. Let us stop our resentments, stop resisting, stop revenge and Let God take control.

and LOVE.
Love like a child. Love like a baby – unconditionally without expectations, without conditions, without ifs and buts. Let love consume us. Let love grow within us and let that be our protection always!

AMEN.

  4. God is like love that moves in mysterious way. We're inferior when we compare ourselves to our Creator. But because of His greatest, unfeigned love, He fills those inadequacy we've, the emptiness that you're talking about. We beg for His goodness and mercy. He doesn't want us to be miserable like the Son of Perdition. He wants us to live with Him by following His commandments.

Redirecting Thoughts!

Sometimes, we forget to take control of our minds. There are times that we just do a lot of things out of habit. We do a lot of things unconsciously. These days, whenever I find myself “thinking”, I am making sure I am thinking productive things. What will I do next?; What are my plans today?;How will I go about today’s activities? If alone in the car, driving, I’d deliberately turn on the positive, encouraging radio station, since their kind of music is good for the soul. I could listen and know that it is all good. As much as possible, I try not to think of negative or bad things. Why? Because I’ve proven that whenever I do that, it boomerangs on me! There was this one time when I felt so pissed off with my husband that my mind was just creating all these negative vibes! Asked what happened next? The more my husband got pissed off. I wasn’t even saying anything, it was all mind power, and it hasn’t done any good! So I experimented the next time it happened, ins...

Vitamins for the Mind

Vitamins for the Mind   by Jim Rohn Results At the end of each day, you should play back the tapes of your performance. The results should either applaud you or prod you. The greatest form of maturity is at harvest time. This is when we must learn how to reap without complaint if the amounts are small and how to reap without apology if the amounts are big. Life asks us to make measurable progress in reasonable time. That's why they make those fourth grade chairs so small—so you won't fit in them at age 25! There are some things you don't have to know how it works, only that it works. While some people are studying the roots, others are picking the fruit. It just depends on which end of this you want to get in on.    "Vitamins for the Mind" is a weekly sampling of original quotes on a specific topic taken from The Treasury of Quotes by Jim Rohn. The burgundy hardbound book with gold-foil lettering is a collection of...

Jack of All Trades

My parents gave me all the opportunities to try and do different activities while growing up. I did ballet. I had swimming lessons ; I joined theatre arts ; I had piano recitals ; I learned bicycling; I played volleyball; I was one of the editors in our school paper. I was even a member of University Quiz Bee contest called "Pautakan", representing our college for 3 years! In high school, I admired students who could do Impromptu Speeches. You see, I could memorize long scripts, I could compose essays but to speak my mind in a contest? Whoa! I guess, I carried that thought - wishful thinking with me, even after college, that it led me to become a member of Toastmaster's International in Makati, Philippines and then here in Gallup, NM, USA! Do I still know how to ballet dance? Mmmm... Lol! Swim? Mmmm... not where I can't touch the floor or sand, OK?  hehe Play piano? Mmmm... I can do two piano pieces? Will that count? hahaha Act? Oh yes! Could...
