I was a member of Christ Youth in Action in college days; Lingkod ng Panginoon after college days ; and Ang Familya ng Panginoon after getting married.
I honestly miss those days! I miss my friends in the community!
I miss attending prayer meetings; sharing and listening to personal testimonies and especially fellowships!
Maybe, we'll be a part of that community again. I hope someday soon.
For the mean time, here's sharing with you one of my favorites.
So my soul longeth after Thee.
You alone are my heart's desire
and I long to worship Thee.
You alone are my strength, my shield
To you alone may my spirit yield.
You alone are my heart's desire
And I long to worship Thee.
DAN GARDNER
I miss my choir mates in school :(

ReplyDeleteFellowship sessions are so spiritually uplifting.
ReplyDeleteKnowing that people join hands in worshiping
the FATHER and praising HIM through songs...
just inspirational.
This is such a beautiful and uplifting song which always reminds me of my very active religious life back in the Philippines. This song particularly, played mostly in the recollections and retreats that i have had, give more meaning to me now because I honestly miss those fellowship and church activities.
ReplyDeleteIt is poles apart to compare the difference between how we celebrate masses and how important going to the church not just on Sundays but everyday. Here in England, Catholic churches are only open on Sundays, at specific time, and because i was used to go the church almost everyday back home I feel lonely and incomplete as far as my faith is concerned. But that's the way it is here so we just have to pray in our own ways at home.
