Beth's "I will"

Thursdays are for GREAT PEOPLE in my life!

WELCOME TO

"YOU'RE GREAT"

THURSDAYS!

Today, I am featuring BETH! - THE CHALLENGER! :)

It was like a week after I’ve posted THE CHALLENGE (- to lose weight in 90 days)
when Beth’s FB cover popped up:

Jumping at the opportunity of inviting her,
I commented, "Great! Do you want to join me? here's the link - THE CHALLENGE. "

... and guess what? She’s been into it already!
She started Nov. 3, 2011 and she's been getting good results monthly!

Here's more from Beth!

What motivated you to start “being” healthy?

"My kids are still small and they need a role model and I realized- healthy is sexy. Lol.
To be an example to my little girl.
To be healthy because I am not getting any younger."

What are the challenges along the way?

"Some days, I didn't feel like doing anything. Some daysI want to eat the entire house!"

What is your daily routine?

"I drink lots of water. I quit eating after 6!"

Tell us about your results.

"Let my photos speak!"

  8. Wow! That's a lot of change. Beth is very successful indeed. There was a time that I wanted to lose weight and I did because I exercised regularly and just like Beth, I quit eating after 6 but when I went home last October, I gained back all my fats because of endless eating and drinking that's why now, I'm back to my old-big-tummy-self again. It has something to do with discipline. I just got a little of it. :(

  11. One thing to always put in mind, especially when doing something, is to monitor it: the progress, the results. In so doing, you could appreciate how to do you progress. And you'll be satisfied. Or otherwise, you may change your plan of action. So as to meet your target.

    You're disciplined. Regards from RandomThoughts!

Redirecting Thoughts!

Sometimes, we forget to take control of our minds. There are times that we just do a lot of things out of habit. We do a lot of things unconsciously. These days, whenever I find myself “thinking”, I am making sure I am thinking productive things. What will I do next?; What are my plans today?;How will I go about today’s activities? If alone in the car, driving, I’d deliberately turn on the positive, encouraging radio station, since their kind of music is good for the soul. I could listen and know that it is all good. As much as possible, I try not to think of negative or bad things. Why? Because I’ve proven that whenever I do that, it boomerangs on me! There was this one time when I felt so pissed off with my husband that my mind was just creating all these negative vibes! Asked what happened next? The more my husband got pissed off. I wasn’t even saying anything, it was all mind power, and it hasn’t done any good! So I experimented the next time it happened, ins...

Overspeeding!!!

credit While driving, a police car passed me by, turned around and followed me. I slowed down.  credit It gave a warning for me to stop. I did.  I was running a lot of excuses in my mind but decided to put it all aside. I prayed instead - Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory Be. A police women came. "Hi!" I said, "Hello!" "Ok", she said, "I pulled you over, because you were running at 60mph in a 45 lane". I said "I'm sorry". She said "Now do you have driver's license, registration and insurance?" I said, "Yes". There was a pause (Oh, I guess, this was the time when I should have given her everything already), she repeated, "So, you do have your driver's license, registration and insurance?" I said, "Yes", and took out my driver's license.  She took it, and said, "so you've never been stopped before?" I said, ...
