We are all meant to shine, as children do.

We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.

It’s not just in some of us, it’s in everyone.

And as we let our own light shine,
we unconsciously give other
people permission to do the same.

As we are liberated from our own fear,
our presence automatically liberates others.”

    lovely post...everyone have fears but believing in God, He removes our fear Because God loves us so much and we should return that love to him by simply follow his commandments and sharing the love to others...

    At least you have a heart of loving child of God that only few can make.

    Wow this is great! Thanks for this post... Yeah there is a way to be proud and inspire other People to shine too and being arrogant about it. We should always know the difference... We should be proud of our blessings, these are the product of our hard work. ;)

    That is very or certainly true that we are the children of God, who have been sent here on earth with parents kind and dear. These parents are imbued with the gifts and fruit of the Spirit to rear up and grow their children in the "nurture and the admonition of the Lord." I know that the author, Ms. Marianne Williamson, is loving, caring, God-fearing mother. She did faithfully administer to the spiritual needs of her children, who are loved and taken cared of by Heavenly Father.

    yup we are born to shine, unfortunately not everyone is given the opportunity... just look at the hundreds, if not thousands, of children wandering the streets of metro manila... if given the opportunity and proper caring one of them could be the next Jose Rizal...

Jack of All Trades

My parents gave me all the opportunities to try and do different activities while growing up. I did ballet. I had swimming lessons ; I joined theatre arts ; I had piano recitals ; I learned bicycling; I played volleyball; I was one of the editors in our school paper. I was even a member of University Quiz Bee contest called "Pautakan", representing our college for 3 years! In high school, I admired students who could do Impromptu Speeches. You see, I could memorize long scripts, I could compose essays but to speak my mind in a contest? Whoa! I guess, I carried that thought - wishful thinking with me, even after college, that it led me to become a member of Toastmaster's International in Makati, Philippines and then here in Gallup, NM, USA!
