The Lesson of the Seed

Andrew Matthew's FOLLOW YOUR HEART

The Lesson of the Seed is "You reap your harvest after you do the work." You dig the soil and water the seed (effort), wait a while (patience) and then you pick your beans.

Effort + patience = results.

In a nutshell:

If we are honest with ourselves, we can list almost everything that's ever happened to us - and see how we helped create it. Don't worry about whether the laws of the universe are delivering for your neighbor. Watch the law of cause and effect at work in your own life - in your own relationships, your own successes and your own disappointments. You will have greater peace of mind.

  2. I would hate to admit this but I am just as human as anyone will be. There have been times when I fail to see what I am blessed with. This has been a good reminder..

  3. this is very true -effort + patience = results and is sum up in the virtue called persistence. I always believe "That which we persist in doing becomes easier for us to do not because the nature of the things has changed but because our power to do has increased".

  6. This verse from the bible states best what law of sowing and reaping is..
"Remember this--a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop. You must each make up your own mind as to how much you should give. Don't give reluctantly or in response to pressure. For God loves the person who gives cheerfully. And God will generously provide all you need and plenty left over to share with others. (2 Cor 9:6-8 NLT)"

  7. Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. - Gal 6: 7

It is true that what we plant is what we reaps. Our country feels the same way as we continue to struggle against floods caused by illegal loggers. As for our personal life, it is best always to be good to people; we'll never know what happens in the future - that person may help us in the future when we needed it. Same goes to success, like you said effort + patience is important to gain success. I may have to add faith, faith in yourself and in God (that is how it goes for me.) God bless.

  10. LIFE may take us to anywhere
but we have to open our eyes to see
the road we travel on... If we have determination
to get what we want, we can reach them.

  14. So true, it takes effort, patience, and a lot of perseverance in order to yield results. And of course, prayer.

Thank you so much for a great reminder! I needed this today and I think I still will in the future, most especially when times become tough. :-)

  18. The Lesson of the Seed is "You reap your harvest after you do the work." You dig the soil and water the seed (effort), wait a while (patience) and then you pick your beans. Sometimes this quote is easier said than done, that's why a lot of people who doesn't have the patience ended up with a wrong decision. Admittedly, I am impatient but sometimes God give us tests that will teach us a valuable lesson so we will learn to be patient. This saying is relative to working hard because in the end all our hardwork will pay off.

  23. Just like in Science, the law of cause and effect, what you work on in your life is what you enjoy. I'm also reminded of what the Bible says, "God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap."

Outside the Box!

Welcome to WEALTHY TUESDAYS! Money-Matters!   Let’s me face the fact.  The fact is anything can happen.  Everything is possible and possibilities are infinite. Good. Wait! Everything? Is possible? Infinite possibilities? Yes. That’s correct. (It is only our mind that sets limits; try pushing your mind beyond the box!) I learned from seminars I’ve attended in the past that  “If the intention is clear, then the mechanism will appear.” Formula: Intention 100% + Mechanism 0% = Achieved Goal 100% If my intention, (belief, purpose, faith) is clear then the mechanism (activity, action, system) will appear! ~ and that will make me achieve my goal! 100% intention that is ALL IT TAKES! Wow! Then, let me be clear: “I want financial wealth; I want more money, so I could be of more service to people esp. to my family, relatives and friends.” and “I want financial wealth; I want more money, so I could enjoy more of life’s grandeu...

The cursed HOW

In my blog post “ Powerful Thoughts ”, I have written how powerful our mind is and whatever we create in our minds, if we believe, it will achieve! How-To-Request-A-Mortgage-Rate-Adjustment-F Honestly, I did not have any idea as to HOW it will happen – (flashback, my solution for our family to be together and not have my husband work as an OFW anymore was to migrate).  HOW? that was the question!   All I have was a belief that it will happen,  158Belief.jpg and for me to mentally picture what I want to happen, I have posted dollar bills,  talk incessantly about going to America someday,  kept a dollar in my wallet just to attract it…       What else? I went to DFA in Lucena to get our passports!  That was how determined I was! epass_trans_small-1.png My aunt asked me “where are you going Gi?”,   I told her to DFA, to get our passports. She asked, “Why?”  ...

Say IT!

http://www.flickr.com/photos/70285332@N00/3032368925 "Show what you feel in relationships. If you feel like crying, cry your eyes out! When you feel like laughing, laugh your eyes out. Scream when you want to scream. Roll on the floor. Surprise everybody!" "Please don’t wait to communicate your feelings!" This came from Leo Buscaglia 's book Living, Loving and Learning . (click his name to know more about it.) For now, you would have known that I am a fan! Yes, I am! Just Say IT! I hate it when my husband will not talk to me because I did something wrong! I do not know why he needs to pamper the pain!!! I am his exact opposite because I just simply communicate what I feel, well, tactless at times but, I need the communication part, so that when I’m done with it, then it’s done.   Just LET ME KNOW! There are people who are afraid to communicate their feelings to the point that instead of directly telling "what's bugging them" with the particular...
