Powerful Thoughts!

When we let go, and let God.
Miracles happen!

Mimoi was one year old at that time, he had just celebrated his 1st birthday without Dennis, my husband. Dennis was in a contract to work as a seaman for another 9 months so he missed it – just as he missed Mymy’s birthdays too!

So, from then on, every night I’d think of a way to make our family life work. I love my independence and the financial blessings (he was a seaman, remember?) but we already have two kids!

The only solution I could think of was migration,
but since I was not sure how it will happen,
I just let it be. I LET GOD.

But, I also did what I thought would help me! Since I am  a visual learner, I posted dollar photos in our room!

I would recite affirmations everyday like
“I am abundant",
I am rich in dollars!”

I even kept a dollar bill and a dollar coin in my wallet, just to attract it!

Funny too, but every time, Mimoi's yaya* would ask where I was going (whenever I had to go errands), my response was always “To America, want to join me?”, it was like an everyday thing that when it really did happen, she was not surprised anymore! Lol!

Our thoughts are powerful. Whatever we think of ,
whatever we create in our minds,
whatever our minds can conceive,

if we believe, it will achieve!

Like a miracle! :)

Outside the Box!

Welcome to WEALTHY TUESDAYS! Money-Matters!   Let’s me face the fact.  The fact is anything can happen.  Everything is possible and possibilities are infinite. Good. Wait! Everything? Is possible? Infinite possibilities? Yes. That’s correct. (It is only our mind that sets limits; try pushing your mind beyond the box!) I learned from seminars I’ve attended in the past that  “If the intention is clear, then the mechanism will appear.” Formula: Intention 100% + Mechanism 0% = Achieved Goal 100% If my intention, (belief, purpose, faith) is clear then the mechanism (activity, action, system) will appear! ~ and that will make me achieve my goal! 100% intention that is ALL IT TAKES! Wow! Then, let me be clear: “I want financial wealth; I want more money, so I could be of more service to people esp. to my family, relatives and friends.” and “I want financial wealth; I want more money, so I could enjoy more of life’s grandeu...

Imbalance

For years, I’ve never had a credit card. A friend literally shouted at me when I looked at the application form. He said, “DON’T YOU DARE APPLY!!!” and so I didn’t. I didn’t even try to mind  what effects they were trying to tell me if I own one.  Come 2007, in the land of milk and honey?!, I was forced to apply for a credit card. “Credit cards are needed to have credit scores”; “It is a must here!”; “Everyone’s got a credit card!”; “No we don’t carry cash, we carry cards”. So I did get one, nope, two, nope, three, nope… OK, to date I have 8 cards!!!!  Yes, I’ve been managing my accounts really well, never had a month without paying, at least the minimum amount. Yes, credit cards made us survive financial turbulence! Yes, credit cards made me say YES, YES, YES!  Since coming here in the land of the free?!, never had we stayed home for long breaks.. we’ve travelled and travelled far to beautiful places, checked in to different hotels, ate, bought, spent… NO budgeting,...

Say IT!

http://www.flickr.com/photos/70285332@N00/3032368925 "Show what you feel in relationships. If you feel like crying, cry your eyes out! When you feel like laughing, laugh your eyes out. Scream when you want to scream. Roll on the floor. Surprise everybody!" "Please don’t wait to communicate your feelings!" This came from Leo Buscaglia 's book Living, Loving and Learning . (click his name to know more about it.) For now, you would have known that I am a fan! Yes, I am! Just Say IT! I hate it when my husband will not talk to me because I did something wrong! I do not know why he needs to pamper the pain!!! I am his exact opposite because I just simply communicate what I feel, well, tactless at times but, I need the communication part, so that when I’m done with it, then it’s done.   Just LET ME KNOW! There are people who are afraid to communicate their feelings to the point that instead of directly telling "what's bugging them" with the particular...
