Forgiveness

Forgiveness is a gift you give yourself. - Suzanne Somers

(I’m not a guru, I'm not an expert but here is my answer to the following question...)

 QUESTION
"Why is it difficult to forgive?"

  ANSWER

Depending on where you are coming from..

because you have not yet found it in yourself to love.. again
…because you still need time to heal
…because you feel the need to resist, resent and revenge
…because you still feel the pain
…because you feel it isn’t time
…because you are being enveloped with fear
…because you are scared

And until you forgive, you will forever be under the power of that person who hurt you.

Until you forgive, your path won’t be clear.
Until you forgive, you won’t find joy in your heart.
Until you forgive, it is hard to bless and be blessed.

Hard as it is, let us turn to Jesus. Let us learn from his mercy and love.

...and as we do that let us give ourselves the favor of forgiving ourselves first so we can be free.

NAMASTE.

BE BLESSED!

  1. no hay de nada que perdonar ? but I will always say perdoname perdoname . That word Perdoname it means forgive me in spanish . To forgive is to let go and to let go is to forgive . We are only human, to forgive is divine . Sometimes it's hard to forgive but the greatest healer is time . Let the wounds be healed and the forgiveness will follow although it has scars to remind you of the hurt and the pain but it will remind you to be divine .

  2. Perhaps forgiveness is one of the most difficult thing to give especially if you have been hurt before. But how nice the feeling will be once you forget everything and forgive the people who did bad things to you!

  6. Forgiveness is a humble act that we can do to ourselves as well as to the person who hurts us. The pain and ill-feeling will be healed when we forgive. Let God be our inspiration to forgive and start a new life. I'm happy to have this post. Thanks.

  7. True forgiveness will free you up of heavy loads and will eventually receive more blessings. Ask God to help you forgive if need to do so. Nice post!

Redirecting Thoughts!

Sometimes, we forget to take control of our minds. There are times that we just do a lot of things out of habit. We do a lot of things unconsciously. These days, whenever I find myself “thinking”, I am making sure I am thinking productive things. What will I do next?; What are my plans today?;How will I go about today’s activities? If alone in the car, driving, I’d deliberately turn on the positive, encouraging radio station, since their kind of music is good for the soul. I could listen and know that it is all good. As much as possible, I try not to think of negative or bad things. Why? Because I’ve proven that whenever I do that, it boomerangs on me! There was this one time when I felt so pissed off with my husband that my mind was just creating all these negative vibes! Asked what happened next? The more my husband got pissed off. I wasn’t even saying anything, it was all mind power, and it hasn’t done any good! So I experimented the next time it happened, ins...

Vitamins for the Mind

Vitamins for the Mind   by Jim Rohn Results At the end of each day, you should play back the tapes of your performance. The results should either applaud you or prod you. The greatest form of maturity is at harvest time. This is when we must learn how to reap without complaint if the amounts are small and how to reap without apology if the amounts are big. Life asks us to make measurable progress in reasonable time. That's why they make those fourth grade chairs so small—so you won't fit in them at age 25! There are some things you don't have to know how it works, only that it works. While some people are studying the roots, others are picking the fruit. It just depends on which end of this you want to get in on.    "Vitamins for the Mind" is a weekly sampling of original quotes on a specific topic taken from The Treasury of Quotes by Jim Rohn. The burgundy hardbound book with gold-foil lettering is a collection of...

Jack of All Trades

My parents gave me all the opportunities to try and do different activities while growing up. I did ballet. I had swimming lessons ; I joined theatre arts ; I had piano recitals ; I learned bicycling; I played volleyball; I was one of the editors in our school paper. I was even a member of University Quiz Bee contest called "Pautakan", representing our college for 3 years! In high school, I admired students who could do Impromptu Speeches. You see, I could memorize long scripts, I could compose essays but to speak my mind in a contest? Whoa! I guess, I carried that thought - wishful thinking with me, even after college, that it led me to become a member of Toastmaster's International in Makati, Philippines and then here in Gallup, NM, USA! Do I still know how to ballet dance? Mmmm... Lol! Swim? Mmmm... not where I can't touch the floor or sand, OK?  hehe Play piano? Mmmm... I can do two piano pieces? Will that count? hahaha Act? Oh yes! Could...
